Holonomix SMARTS Command & Control Centre (S3C)
S3C Packet Design Integration Module (PIM)
SMARTS Command and Control Centre Packet Design Integration Module (S3C PIM) enables users of EMC SMARTS™ solutions to leverage the power of Packet Design’s Route Explorer to discover, visualise and fault find OSPF, BGP and IS-IS routing protocols.

S3C Device Lifecycle Manager (DLM)
SMARTS Command and Control Centre Device Lifecycle Manager (S3C DLM) is a value-add enhancement for EMC SMARTS™ that provides true lifecycle management for network devices.
Using its intuitive web-based GUI, S3C DLM allows operations staff to simply and temporarily place a device into a state of ‘maintenance’, thus masking or suppressing alarms from appearing in operations event consoles.
S3C DLM combines a dedicated workflow engine and information repository to facilitate modelling of true device operational status, together with out of the box integration with SMARTS Service Assurance Manager (SAM) and a variety of device provisioning systems and databases.

S3C Discovery Enhancement Manager (DEM)
SMARTS Command and Control Centre Discovery Enhancement Manager (S3C DEM) is a value-add enhancement for EMC SMARTS™ that mitigates APM’s dependency on SNMP trap receipt. DEM allows authorized network operations to selectively place target devices directly onto the SMARTS discovery pending queue.
Using its intuitive web-based GUI, S3C DEM allows operations staff to rediscover devices individually, as a group or in bulk using ‘batch mode’. The specific time at which the SMARTS pending queue is populated can be set to coincide with the devices maintenance window. Alignment with approval windows and change control mechanisms is also facilitated.
S3C DEM utilises and is tightly integrated with the core S3C foundation workflow engine, approvals mechanism and information repository.

S3C Historical Notifications Manager (HNM)
SMARTS Command and Control Centre Historical Notifications Manager (S3C HNM) enables Network Operations teams to visualize SMARTS fault notifications once they have expired and are no longer visible within the SAM global operator console. This activity can be performed ‘on demand’ without the reliance on highly skilled administrative personnel.
Using the intuitive S3C GUI, Operators can easily construct complex search patterns to create summary reports of SMARTS historical notifications, and view full audit trails of all SMARTS notifications.
